All This Love: A Journey of Healing and Self-Love
You know how sometimes life just feels too heavy? Like you are carrying all this pain, confusion and heartbreak but you don't know how to let it go? That’s exactly how I felt when I picked up All This Love by Ashish Bagrecha. And let me tell you, this book is not just a collection of poems. It’s like a warm hug, a friend who sits with you in silence and somehow makes you feel lighter.
Mental health is not an easy thing to deal with. I have had my fair share of days when nothing made sense, when everything felt too overwhelming. And that’s where this book helped me. Ashish Bagrecha has been through depression and anxiety himself and he has poured all his emotions into these pages. His words hit straight to the heart because they are real, raw and unfiltered. It felt like someone understood exactly what I was going through. "Some wounds are invisible, and only those who have them know how deep they truly are."
One thing that really stayed with me is how writing became his way of healing. It made me think about how expressing our emotions can be so powerful. Jab tak hum apni feelings ko acknowledge nahi karenge tab tak unse deal kaise karenge? His poems make you feel safe to embrace your emotions whether it's pain, loneliness or even self-doubt. "Let your heartache breathe, let your sadness sing, because even broken hearts still beat."
And then comes love. Love is such a complicated thing, isn’t it? We all want it but it also brings its own challenges. This book talks about love in all its forms - the beautiful moments and the heartbreaking ones too. It teaches you that before you find love in someone else, you need to find it within yourself. That hit me hard because I realized that most of the time we expect love to fix us, but the truth is, only we can fix ourselves. "Love yourself a little more on the days you feel unloved."
Another thing I loved about All This Love is that it doesn’t sugarcoat emotions. It doesn’t tell you to just “move on” or “be positive”. Instead, it tells you to feel everything, accept it and then slowly heal at your own pace. That’s what makes it so powerful. "Healing is not a destination, it’s a journey. And you’re allowed to take your time."
If you are struggling with your emotions or trying to figure out your love life, I would really suggest giving this book a read. It’s like a soft reminder that healing takes time and you are not alone in this journey. So, take it slow, be kind to yourself and most importantly, never stop believing in love, especially the love you have for yourself.
